Sussex Falconry has for many years been involved with schools & the education about birds of prey.

Mayfield C&E, Mayfield. Globe Primary, Lancing. Herstmonceux C&E, Herstmonceux.

St Andrews C&E, Worthing. Lewes Old Grammar, Lewes.

Claremont School in Hastings, to name a few. 

There are two ways of doing this, either the birds are bought to the school or you take the pupils

to visit the birds themselves, as a private booking.

A school visit would generally consist of bringing 7 - 8 different birds of prey to

your school & professionaly displaying them to the students/pupils.

If conducted indoors i.e. a sports hall or similiar, the birds will also be free flown making an

unforgetable experience for the pupils as the birds fly within metres of them.

A visit can last all day or just morning or afternoon & accompanied by two

maybe three 30 - 40 minute presentations to the pupils & the 

presentation will usually comprises of the following:

                                                            Free flying suitable birds, if indoors.

                                                                  Information about the birds themselves.

                                                                       Specific species i.e. hawks, falcons & owls.

                                                       Where birds of prey fit in nature.

                                            Feeding & hunting habits.

                                                     Historical place of birds of prey.

                                                                               Questions from the students/pupils or drawings.

              To visit your school for this day package costs only £400.00.

NOTE: Before making any payment, please ring to confirm the day you 

 wish to have the birds at your school is free in the diary.

   Alternative methods of payment are available, including cheque payment on the day.

   (This day package usually starts at 10:00hrs & concludes at approximately 14:30hrs.)
